We are trying to build a live platform where representative from different fields and domains come together to discuss on an event or incident. I would like to tell you a bit about the purpose of the platform we are trying to build.
- The forum we are trying to form is called Zero Hour. It isn’t your typical online forums where people just comment (sometimes without understanding the argument of the person posting before them). It is meant to be a personal interaction of people who have opinions about an event/ incident/ policy. The interaction would not be a one to one discussion where one just speaks his/ her mind but an actual group
brainstorming session which would include individuals with actual authority on the subject at hand. - The purpose of the discussion would be to come up with ideas to enhance understanding of the subject as well as to seek measures to improve ‘situations. An example would be: River pollution of the Ganges (a river in north India), where we would, in the discussion, involve all the stakeholders (the government, people residing near the river, industry experts on pollution control, corporates with setups near the river etc.) and try and come up with concrete ideas to reduce the pollution levels of the river.
- The forum would not stop at suggesting changes; it would also see to it that the changes are implemented; dedicated involvement of all of us would be required
so people join here actively. Put your inputs, your comments, your concerns and start the thread, take a step forward, be the change you want….
